Familie kerstfeest/ Christmas celebration

Op eerste kerstdag is het goed om kerst met mensen van het korps te vieren. We hebben redelijk wat mensen die alleen zijn, dus is het fijn als ze naar een kerstfeest (met maaltijd) kunnen komen. De kinderen hebben meegeholpen met het programma (en klaarzetten).
Al met al een groot feest om te vieren dat Jezus geboren is voor ons.

It is good to have a Christmas celebration on Christmas Day, especially because with are in contact with many people who are lonely. We had a nice programme with contributions of the kids, but we also shared a meal together.
A great celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, the Saviour for us.

Christa op de tamboerijn/ Christa on the timbrels

Op het kerstfeest van het Leger des Heils in Brno, heeft Christa de traditionele tamboerijnmars weer geintroduceerd.

Christa has introduced the timbrels at the Christmas celebration of The Salvation Army in Brno.

Op de slee/ Sleigh

In heel Europa is er genoeg sneeuw te vinden. Hier in Brno hebben we ook het mooie witte spul en is Matous wezen sleeen. Hij vond het heerlijk (was wel koud met -10) en Matous heeft ervan genoten.

The whole of Europe is white of snow, Brno as well!. Matous has been outside on the sleigh. He enjoyed it even though it was a bit cold with -10!

Kerst knutselen/ Christmas crafts

Na het helpen bij de kerstpotten zijn we met de jongens naar een kerstknutselfeest, waar ze mooie versieringen hebben gemaakt.

After helping with carolling, we have been to the Christmas crafts event, where the boys have made wonderful decorations for in the Christmas tree.
